There are four components to the Team Freeride program:
1) Kick off the season with one of our early season camps. Our Thanksgiving and Christmas (weather permitting) is the perfect way to get you back on snow for the season. We will be focused on skiing and riding technique, goal setting for the season and gear setup. We will do video analysis daily and ride as much of the mountain that is open. These early season training opportunities will set the foundation for the rest of your season and set you up for success. So get your shred on and come out and join us

2) The bulk of our program happens during our Mid Winter and Spring weekend sessions. These eight and four week sessions are held on Saturday and Sunday. We encourage team members to participate in both weekend days to get the most from the program, especially if you plan on competing in the Junior Freeskiing Series.

3) New this year is our Park and Pipe nights at the Summit from 7-9pm. We will be meeting Tuesday nights at 6;30pm at Summit Central ticketing area. The focus will be learning and progressing in the park and pipe so we can bring these practiced skills to the Big Mountain Arena.

4) Finally, the IFSA Junior Freeskiing Competition Series. (Please note: you do not have to compete in competitions to be part of the team).Competition Day Coaching Fee TBD for specific dates and locations.

All sessions held at Crystal are 9:30am – 3:30pm.
We will break for lunch from 11:30am-12:30pm (lunch not included). Lunch will be held at various locations around the mountain. Please be sure to pack a lunch or bring lunch money. We will be eating together as a team!

All sessions at Summit Central are from 7-9pm. Meet at 6:30pm at the ticketing area.

What to Expect
You’ll spend a lot of time off-piste (not on the groomers) learning how to approach steeper and more technical lines, shred various snow conditions with ease and catch some air. If you are that skier or snow boarder looking to confidently ride sick lines with power and style this is the team for you. If you are hoping to compete in the Junior Freeride Series this year or in the near future, this is the perfect training ground. Our highly-skilled coaches will balance the right amount of learning with freeriding plus you’ll get surprise appearances from our Freeride team who will also provide helpful tips based on their years of training and experience.
