Another huge storm hit Valle Nevado with over 2 feet of powder
Crystal Mountain and Boyne Resorts has teamed up with the Valle Nevado Ski Resort in South America to form the Southern Sister Connection (SSC). All 2008 Crystal Mountain season pass holders will be entitled to a free seven day lift ticket to the Chilean ski resort, Valle Nevado. The ski season at Valle Nevado runs June through October, when southern hemisphere storms blanket the Andes Mountains just east of Santiago. Valle Nevado is 1 1/2 hours from the Santiago International airport (SCL).
To receive lift tickets, 2007/08 Crystal Mountain season pass holders will need to proceed to the main ticket office (a.k.a. boleteria in Spanish) at Valle Nevado. A valid passport with photo ID and a 2007/08 season pass from Crystal Mountain or any other Boyne Resort, will need to be presented to receive lift ticket. A 7 day consecutive lift ticket will be issued upon arrival at Valle Nevado and will only be valid for the next 7 consecutive days. Lift tickets cannot be resold, are not transferable, and are only valid for the 2008 season.
Even though there are heat waves across the US right now, the skiing conditions at Valle Nevado are prime!
